FORESCOLOR is the COLOR BOARD developed to overcome the limitation of the normal Medium Density Fiber board. FORESCOLOR is a combination of the words “FORESCO” and “COLOR” meaning of FORESCO’s environmental friendly technology of wood fiber materials with color.

NEW IDEA of ENGINEERED WOOD FORESCO FR(Flame Retardant) is flame retardant product due to combination of FORESCO’s flame retardant and resin technology. It can be used with other fire retardant surface materials and it is suitable interior product for fire service act and building regulation.

FORESPURE NAF(No Added Formaldehyde) MDF is the most eco-friendly product manufactured using a process whereby no formaldehyde resin is added. FORESPURE NAF is ideal for all interior application in multiuse facility which is sensitive of indoor air quality.

FORESCO MR(Moisture Resistant) is high moisture resistance which allows high dimensional stability compared to normal product. Due to its high moisture resistance, it is suitable for various application in humid environment.

Responsible sourcing

Unlike the vast majority of the world’s MDF, FORESCOLOR is made from exotic plantation-grown Radiata Pine tress. These forests are mostly located a short distance from the plant.

Whenever possible, we source wood harvested from plantations that meet the Forest Stewardship Council’s (FSC) stringent environmental social and economic standards.
Product made from this wood carries the FSC certification label. We are also part of Environmental choice – Korea’s most trusted multiple criteria environmental labeling program, which operates to internationally recognized standards and principles. In addition, our environmental system meets the strict criteria set out in the ISO14001 certification process.

Environmental intiatives

We constantly monitor conditions to ensure we are managing our operations in an environmentally responsible manner. We also strictly monitor formaldehyde emissions, as well as regularly measuring wood dust. An external authority completes an annual survey of wood dust and formaldehyde. Several initiatives on-site focus on the recycling of cardboard, office paper and containers. We are also proud of our employee-led local planting project.
